Darfur Benefit in Delray Beach, FL!

 

Founded by seven high school students from the South Florida area, For Darfur Inc. is a non-profit organization helping to raise awareness for the dire crisis affecting the Sudanese people in Darfur. 

On June 1st in Delray Beach, FL at the Old School Square Gym, join the New School Dropouts as we help make a positive impact on the future of the people of Darfur. Your admission and/or donations are greatly appreciated and will benefit victims in Darfur.

You might have heard about Dave’s snowboarding accident a couple of weeks ago....Dave is an awesome guy and a local surfer and videographer. He was recently snowboarding in Colorado and took a nasty spill that has left him paralyzed from the neck down.  Join us on Feb 17, 2007 to help raise money for Dave Genchi and his family!

Jimmy McNulty Benefit @ Da Kine’s

Jimmy and his wife Donna have been involved in the surf and skate scene in central FL for years.  Jimmy actually skated with the Dogtown crew back in the day in Cali!  Unfortunately, Jimmy died suddenly of cancer in April and heaps of medical bills remain.

Benefit Show with Coolie Ranx!

NSD’s trombone machine Jack Hoffpauir announces June 10, 2006 as the official date for the Music For Hope benefit show.  Special guest from Brooklyn and leadman of the former Pilfers, Coolie Ranx, will headline the show.  Local musicians Tommy Sickles (Nature Kids), Jim Schaffer (Freeflow Conspiracy) and Joe Hadwin (Indium) will be backing Coolie while “elevating your mind body and soul.”  ChecK out Coolie’s site and sound here.   Boxelder will start the evening off so arrive early!

 

This year’s benefit should prove to raise thousands toward suicide awareness and prevention.  Last year’s show sold out and we look to do the same this year!

Sure to be an all-nighter!  The FREE KEG starts at 8pm on Saturday, February 11th in Indialantic, FL @ the Hustler!  We’ve worked on this mofo for it seems like ages.  Now it’s comedown to the comedown.  All the energy we put in this project is for you, our friends to share with your friends. as well!!!

Rocking for Research Benefit!

When Katie’s friend Andrew of Something Corporate was diagnosed with Leukemia, the reality of a such a powerful disease suddenly hit close to home.  Katie decided to make a difference!  Her answer: Organize a mega benefit show called Rocking for Research!

 

On Thursday, 9/8/05, support NSD and cancer research at the Backbooth in downtown Orlando!  NSD will be headlining the evening and looks forward to a night of serious good vibes!
